Premission Categories?

Hi: first I am using sharepoint portal 2002 on windows 2003.

We had someone that setup different premissions, but I was wondering if besides administrator if webmaster is a default premission?

If so, what is webmaster and what can it do?

Hi,

There is a site group called Web Designer, which is the permission set just below Administrator. With Web designer permissions a user can change the layout and create content, but not add users to an area or site.
