Premiere 6.01 freezes during export

Whenever I try to export my timeline to a file,
Premiere starts exporting and at some point just freezes, and I have to
reboot. It seems to happen more often when dealing with
clips in "slow motion".

My HD is 7200 and my CPU is AMD 1600+ XP with win98SE.

Is it a problem with my HD of is it Premiere?

I have a Mac G4 with adobe Premiere 6.01
I hook my canon XL1 and hit record and lost frames
for every 100 I lost 20 . Put soney on 900 went great. now how do I get my canon to work???? thanks dhorton3@ptialaska.net
