OK...

So, I shoot with a 16:9 ratio. Import into Premiere... edit with 16:9... dump it back on my deck... when it's shown on the 4:3 TV in gives it the old "squish". So, how do I lettrbox it... so when I export it and show it on a 4:3 TV it has a letterbox effect without croppping my original footage?

Hi lemonlight.

You can apply the "Transform" effect to your finished footage (located in the Perspective folder of your video effects). Then where it says "Scale height" in the effect controls, take it down to 75.0 (75%)

You'll need to render, et voila.

It's easier if you export your entire project into one file first, and then just apply the effect onto that. Just a simple tip.

Hope that helped.
