premier 6 audio problem

premier 6 audio problem
Hi
I am using Priemier 6 and when playing back a clip or playing back the timeline I get no audio. If I scrub the clip I get audio. I used to get audio when playing back the timeline so I seem to have altered something. Can you help

I have the same problem. My old Sony Vaio P111 with 6.0 works fine, but my new Vaio P4 with 512 ram, XP home and the same software loses the audio when playing back the timeline. The video timeline is also much more jerky than the old box. If i don't resolve this problem in a week. This box is going back, my old box works better.

Anybody have any ideas?

Hi.
I had the same audio problem and I still get it sometimes. It seems to happen for no apparent reason. Anyway,if the audio goes away when playing a clip, I usually save the project and restart the computer. It usually works fine after that. It's weird. Sometimes you also can render the audio, and then it works fine again.
You just have too try for yourself. Good luck.
