I'm kind of scratching around for this, but I'm sure it's simple.

I have a 750k flash movie on my website that keeps stopping as it loads.

I've seen other flash movies which have a 'hold on a minute' kind of message, but I can't find specific instructions on how to do that either in help or on this forum.

Can anyone enlighten me? At the moment I've just got a cheesy message on the webpage warning of this. Yuk.

Thanks

Seems your preloader ain't workin' properly!
What's the coding on it?
And a link could help!

Sorry, wasn't clear there.

I haven't even got that far. I just made the movie and stuck it on my website. It's just a personal site - not anything important).

What I wanted was just a tip on how to do it/where to start, as I couln't find anything in the help section.

(if you really want to see it - but if you like the British royal family, you might not be amused!!).

Your problem might be partly due to your html. It is unusual to only use the <embed> tag when working with Flash.
Flash has a Publish feature which will actually output a complete html, you can then adapt to your needs.
Check Publishing and Exporting in the help files (F1).

Once you get that going, you can worry about building a preloader to replace that cheesy message!
