preload check

checking locally a preload section into a swf is to fast to notice any animation so the only way is to put the file on the internet.


is there a way that i can simulate a slow internet connection locally on my computer, so i don't have to upload them on the net

When testing in Flash 5... View->Show Streaming!
In Flash 4... Control->Show Streaming!

You can also lookup Show Streaming in Flash 5's help files!
