My 8200 on power up indicates that the Preheater exit sensor assembly is bad (bit 20 =0). I have a part on order. But where in the heck does this go. Do I need to remove the paper drum heater FRU to get to this sensor. Any help is appreciated.

Yes. There are two sensors, and the flags are very fragile.
Check the long flag is seated properly.

Thanks, I see one of them all the way up on the left. Those flags are fragile little buggers. I have found that I can fabricate a flag with plastic cut/shaped properly and some good loctite super glue and PASCO filler, then fine sand to original shape. So far I have done 3 of these and they are about 6 months old and holding.
