I have a hires pdf which I have run through a online preflight system (Pass 4 press). The pdf file was created in OSX10.3.3/quark 6.1 and acrobat distiller using the pass 4 press options. I have checked all spot colours throughout the file (incluing eps's) there are only 4 pictures being used in the document. But when the file has been preflighted it flags up spot colour :
Spot colour being used •All Tint = 0
So the file will not pass the preflight software? But if I save the document backdown to quark 5 and create a postcript and run this through distiller 6 etc using pass 4 press it says the pdf is ok and will let me pass the preflight...??
Also does quark 6.1 always use red and blue in the pallete? I mean when I open quark without any document red and blue say they are being used?? is this normal. Quark 5 just uses black and white.
Please help!!!!
