Predictive text input ?

Hi,

Does a Palm PDA offer anything like the predictive text input I have on my mobile phone ?

I am used to a keyboard based organiser (Psion 5) so I hate the tiny on-screen keyboards offered by both Palm organisers and Pocket PCs, and want an organiser which can try to guess the words I use (I often use the same ones!).

Can you help me please ?

There's a program called WordComplete from CIC Inc.

There are a couple of others, but I can't remember their names right now, sorry.

Thanks for your reply.

I presume your reply about a third party program, that the Palm doesn't have any kind of predictive text input?

If so, that's a shame because my colleague's got a Pocket PC and I notice it suggests a word you're trying to type, to reduce typing input/effort.

Could you clarify ?

You are right in presuming that this functionality does not come with the OS. I did, however, manage to dig up a link on the other software package I mentioned. It's called TextPlus, and can be found at
