Morning all

I have created a report for our sales team for call logs, which has user selectable parameters for Report Start and Report End dates.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have selectable pre-defined date ranges used for the parameters, either as buttons or drop-downs, that would represent "This month", "Last Month", "This Year", "Last Year", etc?

Thanks, Steve

Steve:

If you simply want to show "This Month", etc in the dropdown, you can add a parameter and just load in those values. The stored procedure could then receive that as a parameter and make the date range calculations based on the text.

Another option may be to add a dataset and populate it with a query that creates whatever text and date values you want to put into the dropdown. Then set the parameter to get its values from that dataset.
