Preclude Excel from opening full frame?

Hello,

I am running Excel 98 on OS10.5.6. How do keep Excel documents from opening full frame. About half of my documents open in the size I left them in and others open full frame (and I have a big screen so its quite annoying)?

Simple problem I didn't have it before Excel 98.
