precision 620 memory upgrade HELP

I am trying to install an additional 512mgs of rambus in this pc. whey I boot it up it doesn't start and comes up with a checkpoint error (size) or (poke). Any Ideas what this is? It just keeps on trying to reboot and after so many trys it show this error. I have installed the memory correctly and updated the BIOS to the lates rev. Also, I just tried using on 512 mgs of both pairs seperately and it boots up ok.

is there any way you can get a replacement ? verify this memory has the same bus speed
