Precise brush cursor when brush size is selected

Hello, I just ran into a strange problem that I can't seem to fix. All of a sudden my brush cursor has changed to the precise crosshair, but I have brush size selected in my preferences. It has always worked fine, but somehow, there must be something that I have selected that is over riding this preference setting. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be 2 things i can think of:-

1) The caps lock key is on
2) The brush is so big you cannot see it
