Hi!
Just want to ask if there is an extension pre-translation feature on the NEAX2000IPS, and if yes, can these be progammed on individual extensions, not system wide.
We have 2 (two) sites, 2 cities apart, unfortunately, the primary number on the assigned ISDN line is the same except for the 5th digit, which would be the extension number... e.g. Site 1 - Pilot no. 721-7XXX ext. range 200-300, Site 2 - Pilot 721-7XXX - ext. range 400 - 499.
For site 1 - they requested new extension with the 400 range, unfortunately, when they call out, the caller-ID on the receiving phone is 721-74XX which confuses them because this range is for Site 2, hope it's not confusing.
Is there a way that instead of showing the 721-74XX on Caller-ID, to program it with a pre-translated extension, like reception line, e.g. 721-7200 for the 400 range in site 1 so when the called party calls/redials back, they will reach the site one personnel.
Hope I explained it clear....
Thanks and Regards
