I have shell script to create a duplicate of my source file. I am planning on running the script as a pre session script.
WHat would happen if an error occurs in a pre session script, will the error be logged into informatica error log?

If an error occured what should I do to reload the same file again and this should be dynamic?

Yes it will be logged in the log file... All the Script does is duplicate the Source File... Am I right??? So in case you encounter some error occurs then it has to do with Duplication...
