Hello

My client needs to print time cards
Name, Location , Hours, Location2 on perforated form for time cards. Existing Printer (the Driver) was not installed when new computer was given to office and no one can find the software.

I have written a report in Access with the above Data.

I need the Form to be
Lenght 25 Lines
Top 0 Lines
Bottom 0 Lines
Left 0
Right 272

Can I customized my report to accomodate this.

any tips is highly appreciated

I will Give Credit where it is due.. to the One that can Solve this You have a THANK YOU from me

Hi there--I'm a bit confused.
Are you printing a REPORT? Or a FORM? You are using both words interchangeably.

How far have you gotten so far? Is what you are saying is that you have made the report but you do not know how to make it the size you want? Have you changed the margins in PRINT SETUP? Please let us know what the issues are? When you say "Top, Bottom and Left are 0 lines", do you mean 0 INCHES? and Right 272 Lines, what does that mean? What do you mean by "lines"? What does the paper look like? Is it one continuous feed with perforations? Or is it separate pieces of paper with 2 or 3 time cards on each?

Thanks for bringing to my attention , I was not clear.

I have started creating the Report in Access, where I imported the data from a excel spreadsheet.
I did try changing the margins but get error message.

I have snapshot of the old layout instructions . Cards are continuous feed with perforations for a Tractor Feed Printer (Printex). Left sample of the timecard , thought I had it in my bag. Wow not looking good here.

Old Report form layout says FORM LENGTH_MARGIN
Form Length (25) Lines
Top (0) Lines
Bottom (0) Lines
Left (0) Nothing stated here as far as Lines
Right (272) Nothing stated here as far as Lines.

Hope this gives more understanding to what I am attempting to do. I will update on Monday thanks just the same

what error message are you getting?
how wide and high are the physical pieces of paper you are feeding through the printer?

what did you change the margins to? what happened when you did it? how high is your detail section of your report? adjusting all of these things will be your answer. With more info I can help, but margins in the Page Setup and changing the size of your detail section is the answer :))
