I have several programs I have written in Clipper which I wish to convert to Access.

Can someone tell my how to control a printer on a pre-printed form in the same way in which you controled it in Clipper! ex. @ row,col say "This is a test", where row & col = the desired row and column position on the pre-printed form.

I am using mostly dot matrix printers for finance contracts and forms.

Start afresh (over, if you're American). And throw that printer away.

Access isn't Clipper. You can create a new report and drag a text box or label where ever needed on the report.

You can specify exact X and Y coordinates but this is rarely used. The placement of controls on a report is almost always sufficient.
