Pre-empting the user's printer set-up

I have a Delphi 5 application that makes use of the CRViewer component and allows the user to print off the reports as required. Ideally I would like to be in a position where the application could determine the printer set-up and position the report body as required (I'm looking at the approach of setting the Left and Top Margins accordingly to center the information on the page).
Is there a way of doing this ?
