PR no auto generation..

Hi,

One of my client is having the problem in generating the PR no automatically, error message is "Record already exists".

Incremented the next number in po options but PR posted successfully and again the same problem is happening..

next number in po options is not incrementing automatically

SAGE ACCPAC Version -54A
PO with Service Pack 2

Pls adivce...

100% of the time this is caused by users entering the next number manually.

Can we set it right some how they are entering the PR no manually as of now ...

Increment the next number higher, like +100

... or use the finder and see what the highest number is and set the next number to something higher...

Sometimes it is a different table than you expect. Run rvSpy so you can see what table/record is causing the problem.
