pptp vpn

I am trying to establish a pptp vpn connection from a remote win98 dial-up connection to my LAN. I'm using a Watchguard Firebox 1000 firewall for vpn authentication. My connection to the Internet goes like this:

Network -> firewall -> Linksys router -> cable modem -> Internet

I can authenticate to the firewall successfully, but can't ping, browse, or map to any resources. The network is Netware. I appreciate any help.

Did you setup the firebox to hand out the WINS information over the tunnel? You may want to create an LMHOSTS file on the 98 machine and manually enter your network information in there.

Do you have the firebox setup to pass the information to the trusted interface?
