I have a few users that I have migrated from another company and have brought their laptops with them. When I try to create a PPTP VPN using their laptops XP sp2 It creates the VPN connection with no problem, but if you go to the properties the IP address of the VPN server is in a "Dial" box and states it's a PPP dial up connection? Any ideas?

If you goto the properties of the vpn connection. Check and see if the dial another connection first box is checked.

I sepcificly said not dial dial an initial connection because it is for use over broadban or any other Non dial connection.
