PPTP Problem! can't access Network PC's and resources

Here's my setup.
Server End, I'm running win2003 server and setup the PPTP server on it using the RRAS. Domain controller. Forwarded port 1723 to the server. no sw firewall.

Client end running winxp Pro. Setup the client and connected to the server.

On the Client i couldn't view anything in network neighborhood. I could only access the remote networks by typing \\192.168.x.x in the RUN menu. Then i would login and etc.

I then connected the client PC to the domain controllers domain. After doing so, i can now view the Remote networks domains and networks. However, i cannot get into them. I can still type the IP address in RUN to login, but when i try to click into in network neighborhood it gives me error.
"xxx is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The device is not connected."

However, again i can access them using just the IP address.

HELP?

It is better to setup WINS server for browsing over VPN. These search results may help,
