PPT - No text converter installed for this file type

User not able to view a .ppt recieved via email. recieved error, "No text converter installed for this file type."

fist thought was to check 07 compatibilty pack, which was. I uninstalled/reinstall 07 c-pack, same outcome. Installed 07 .ppt viewer with no luck. Lastly I renamed the file to .pptx
