PPPOE ADSL SYMPATICO CANADA can't work

I have reinstalled win98se. I can connect to Bell, can ping, but IE will not work.

i ran the IE repair and it still will not allow me to surf. No special software or firewall installed.

Any suggestions?

Works fine on my XP notbook.

Sorry, click on Send too quick. Which modem do you have ? Are you using the PPPoE client software that comes on the yellow/blue CD ? Any error msg from IE ?

Problem solved. Of course bell was of 0 help.

I had to uninstall my VPN client. There apparantly is a conflict with the PPPOE dialer from bell.

Will get a router for the PPPOE conection then reinstall my VPN.
