PPP Connection to Def One via XP

We are struggling to connect to a Definity One via PPP. Keep getting "Account does not have permission to dial in", using login and password provided by AVAYA, who say they can get in with it. Is there a setting to the dial up connection in XP that we are missing? Maybe some documentation that would aid us?
