PPP connection on NIU V.24

I have a MD110 BC12 SP9 with NIU2 NIFR9A.
I have already taken all steps as in thread 806-642553 to
configure a PPP connection to NIU over V.24
I am unable to connect sucessfully, I get the fault code
721.

why would you want to do that? there's no advantage using PPP session against a "normal" dialup method

I want to get the Cil-on-HDU-DATA from different sites
and I have no network-connections to the remote sites.

you can use xmodem transfer...
