PPlay Drill-Thru question

I have a basic question. I have a cube and the cube drills thru to a imr, and I get results.
But to get the filtered results in the imr, I have to specify the filter conditions on the cube.

My expectation was, I would click on the plus sign (+) and double click to drill thru to the report as specified by the cross-hairs and the report would filter as per the row and column in the cube. Right now, the user will have to specify Manager name, branch etc from the drop-downs for the filters. If I just click on the plus sign whitout the filters, I get the whole report. Am I doing something wrong, or is this how the drill-thru is supposed to work? Thanks in advance.

Your drill-thru .imr report "MUST" have the same columns that the cube .imr/.iqd was built with.
That way they can match filtering parameters.
Temporarily, in your .imr drill-thru report, "insert" a block of "Filter text (drill through)", from the more-objects in the insert tab, into your header area.
When the report is drilled-to, it will display all of the matched filtering columns.

Thank you sln007:

I think, I was not very clear on what I was trying to say.

Basically, I can drill thru to the imr when I specify the filters from the drop downs on the dimensions line.

But my question is, can I not just click on a cell within the cube to drill-thru straight to the imr (filtered) or alternatively, click on a cell in the cube and then click on the plus sign to get the imr filtered?

All the columns etc match.

Thanks again

In PP Web, unless you double-click on that cell, just highlighting it will not cause those values to be passed to the drill through report.

Thanks DoubleD.

You are right, double clicking on the cell just drills thru further into the cube and the plus sign enables one to drill thru to the imr based on the level of the cube(with the conditions).

Anyway I now get a better picture.
