I am now the Administrator of Cognos at my company and we would like to know which users actually use which cubes, what dimensions, etc. I'm looking for some software to help me analyze the log file. As you know, if you have looked at the log file, YUCK!! Do any of you have such? I have downloaded Cognoses utility but really what a more powerful tool if there is one out there.

Which one are you using from Cognos ??
I m currently trying the Cognos sessionizer ( cognos web support/documentation/ Utility / Cognos analyser. ) It s giving a correct answer.

I'm using the PPES_Audit.vbs downloaded from the cognos website, with a few mods and amendmnents to the cubes thsi works fine for us.

It splits the log files into a readable csv file which is the source for an audit cube.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by more powerful tool.
