PPES 7.3 Reports showing same rows and columns

Hello all,
Sorry, but it's yet another problem I'm having with my upgrade to PPES 7.3.

All of my models have a user class filter matched to depot, so that the depot users see just their data whilst a senior user can see the whole company (all depots) or an appropriate subset (defined in access manager as a user).

The .ppx reports which show depot as rows and measures as columns look fine in PPClient and as administrator in PPWeb.

However, if opened as a user, the rows are replaced with measures. The dimension bar shows the filter is working, and if the depot is dragged over the rows, the report becomes what it ought to be.

I've opened the .mdl version of the transformer model and the .ppx file to confirm that the IDs match.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hi Lex

Is this a new report or an old report using the upgraded cube ?

if it's an old report, has the row dimension changed in any way ? what happens if you amend the report and re-save it, or if you create a new report, do you still have this problem ?

I recently upgraded about a dozen cubes and all the associated reports with no problem at all, so I'm surprised you're having problems.

Gary,
It's a report created from an old report, as the report modification dates were not changing when the cube was refreshed (see othe thread).
I'm not sure what you mean when you say upgraded cube - the cubes have been built using 7.3 transformer whilst I was still on 7.1 PPES (I ran the ppadmtool and upfdbadm commands in DOS to update upfront & PPES data content).
thanks,
lex

Sorry for the confusion, by upgraded cube i just meant the cubes built using transformer 7.3 and published tp PPES 7.3.

Have you run the ppserver commands to update the powerplay metada this updates the ppserver .cfx files with the new location of the published cubes ?

yes, ppserver already run to change cer3 to cer4 on reports' pathway (to avoid the dreaded "no valid cube mapping" error), but thanks for the suggestion.

[Update]
Now classified as a bug by Cognos; perhaps to be fixed in MR3.
