PPC mtsr help

I need help trying to figure out if I need waits when I am using this instruction(mtsr). We use it mainly for toggling the write/read line of an EEPROM. We either write in a value or reset it to zero. I can't decide if this is context altering or not, any ideas? btw we are using a PPC 603e
