Hi Everyone:

I would like to insert a PP slide show into my web page. I have checked help and there is not indication at all that it can be done.

Does anyone have a clue if it can be done, and if so how?

Thanks much
Trudye

I'm pretty confident you can't actually insert a PowerPoint presentaion into a webpage for visitors to view as if they were actually running PP.

You could screen grab all your slides and by adding a hyperlink to the images the visitors could click through your slide show, but keep in mind the bigger the images the longer it takes to display, and of course visitors are likely to get hacked off.

Also, you could ZIP your presentation up and make it downloadable for visitors if they require.

Finally, if you really wanna be cool, you can broadcast a slide show live over your Intranet or website using PowerPoints "Presentation Broadcasting" feature. It's a live slide show where you schedule your broadcast and invite people to watch. If you are interested in this go to and type "presentation broadcasting" into the search box. Your PC needs to meet certain criteria, but it's probably a pretty smart feature.

Hope this helps,
Craig

All you have to do is open your presentation in PowerPoint. Choose File>Save As. For the Save as File Type drop down box, choose HTML. It'll save all the slides in HTML. You can still edit them in PowerPoint if you need to make changes. Publish the pages and their accompanying folders, put a link to the presentation, and you've got your slide show.

Thanks to Craig and Linda for responding, both were really great suggestions. But I think Linda's is closer to what I had in mind.

Let me test my understanding: Instead of putting PP presentation into FP just publish it as a seprate page and create a link to it?

Sounds good to moi!

Thanks again everyone, you both are great.
