something odd here.

I have created a report on upfront. now added one more measure to cube and refreshed that to upfront.

I am trying to add that measure to the existing report, but data is not displaying for that. If i create a new report for that cube, i can see data. Is it that report once designed on web is forever the same structure !???!

check your hide/show window - I reckon you'll find your new measure is just hidden.

at first glance i also thought so. but not like that.

do this.

1. create a cube with one measure.
2. publish
3. create a report & save (in upfront)
4. add a measure to cube
5. rebuild cube and update
6. open report and try to add ur new measure

u get nothing!

did your step 5 include disabling and enabling the cube either side of the rebuild?

yes yes, i did that.

after that, in the report i can see that measure2 in the hidden categories list (in the show/hide). but if i move that to Visible list, it has no effect.

beginning to sound like a bug.

If you open the report in the client, can you see the extra measure? If so, if resaved, will it appear in the browser.

in client it works.

on web, save and return -> no change.

strange thing is, on web, hide/show works with the measures that were there when the reports created, but its not working with the measures that are added to the cube after the report created.

hummmmmmmmmm looks like i have to recreate the reports just to add a new measure!
