PP Custom Animations not working

I created a PP presentation and saved it as a HTML file. I uploaded it and it displays fine. And here comes the BUT..

I added some Custom Animations (i.e. arrows whose display I setup to be timed) but they are not working. They are all displaying when the slide is displayed (i.e. they just lay there).

Is ther something I have to change in the code to get the timed displaying of the animation items to work?

I have seen PP slide shows with timed animations but I don't know how they got it to work.
