Hi all! I have a Dell PowerVault 745n that is running as a backup server. Currently we have a tape carousel connected via SCSI to it but I am changing this out in favor of a few 1TB external eSATA drives. I bought a PCI eSATA card to replace the SCSI card but the problem is that if I remove the SCSI card it still tries to load the BIOS for the card and when it doesn't see the card it reboots the server and it does this over and over. How can I tell the server to stop looking for the SCSI card? Thanks!
