I currently have a Dell PowerVault 120T with DLT4000 7 slot autochanger.
Is there anything special I need to know if I want to swap it with another Dell OEM DLT7000 drive? Jumpers on the drive or the logic board? The logic board is ADIC P/N: 17-1145-01 Rev A (Copyright 1998).
I tried doing this and getting a DRIVE POST E and DRIVE HNDL E error.
I've flashed both loader and drive firmware to the latest build from the Dell support website.
In addition, I've attempted the same with a genuine ADIC FastStor 7 DLT4000 loader with the same problem. Its logic board is ADIC P/N: 17-1117-01 Rev C (Copyright 1996).
HELP!
