Has anyone successfully upgraded the power supply (OEM Delta 145Watt) in a Pavillion 8495 (MOBO: OEM Asus P2b-VE / Condor bios)? The proprietary nature of these units may not allow standard ATX or Mini-ATX psu's and I would like to at least up the power to 200-300Watts if possible. HP only offers a replacement of same. With CD,DVD,floppy, etc, I am concerned that any additional HDD , Sound card, AGP video adapters, etc will not have the power they need. Other than "get a new case", any suggestions are welcome. Thanks. W.P.Smith

Afraid you're pretty much limited in choices due to the case design of 'brand' computers.

Bust out your dremmel and your welding tourch and make a custom housing ;)

Last one I did was case/ps for $26 and a floppy for $5. Everything fit in well except for cable mods to fit the M/B headers. And now I have a mostly standard atx install with enough power to expand. Ed Fair
