Hi All,
I have a sub-report with a main query and another query.
The report contains two prompts say p1 & p2.
Both the queries use p1 & p2.

I want to set p1='value1' & p2='value2' for both the queries from powerprompt.

From powerprompt I am unable set values for the prompts used by second query.

It says PROMPT VALUES NOT SET.

Is it possible to set prompt values for the second query from powerprompts??

Have anyone faced similar probs?

Thanx,
Prasad.

Hi Prasad,

Try this:
1. Create a calculated field(calculation1=?PromptForSubQuery?) containing the prompt variables in main quiery.

2. Use this field in the sub report in a filter (i.e. FieldToFilter=master report.calculation1).

3. Now set the value of ?PromptForSubQuery? from powerprompt.

Hope this helps. Let me know the outcome.

Thanks and Regards,
Srinath M.K
