Powerpoint to Word Problem

A friend of mine has created a powerpoint presentation which she now wants in word format also. The powerpoint slides are all A4 size so I thought it wouldnt be a problem to select all, copy then paste the page contents into a word doc but the resulting word doc looks nothing like the powerpoint slide. I first tried to save the slides as a word doc but couldnt so Im not sure what to do now! Im using Office XP Pro, any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Have you just tried...
Word: Create Landscape A4 with margins: 0,0,0,0
PPT: on First slide.. Ctrl+A(Select All), Ctrl+C(Copy)
Word: Ctrl+V(Paste)

From the File Menu
Select Send To
Microsoft Word
