Hi,

I'm working on a PowerPoint presentation that has been edited by several people in various versions of PowerPoint (2000, 2002, & 2003).

In the slideshow mode, the slides advance okay when either the mouse wheel or the keyboard is used. But they won't advance with the Left mouse button.

In Tools --> Options --> View, everything is checked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi BB

Have you tried checking the Slide Transition settings?

SLIDE SHOW > SLIDE TRANSITION (in Powerpoint 2003). Then under ADVANCE SLIDE check to see if the ON MOUSE CLICK has been unchecked. If it is then this prevents you from using the left mouse click but will still advance the slides using keyboard etc when in slide show mode. Try selecting the ON MOUSE CLICK and then click APPLY TO ALL SLIDES.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Karen

Karen,

Thanks! That was exactly what I needed.
