I am trying to publish a slideshow as a webpage, and it has sounds on each of the slide transitions. It works fine as a presentation, but when I save it as a webpage it dosn't work. If I add the sound as an object, on each slide I can get it to play when clicked on, but not automatically when the slide loads.

I am really confused as to why this isn't working. I am using office 2003

Any Ideas?

I am a highly experienced user so you can use big words with me and I will understand what you mean.

From help:

By default, sounds are automatically linked to your file, rather than embedded in it, if they are greater than 100 KB in size. You can change this default to be more or less than 100 KB. When your presentation has linked files, you must copy the linked files as well as the presentation if you are going to be giving the presentation on another computer.

When you play them on the web page, are the files accessible?

yes, basically i have tried it two ways:

1) I have saved it as a website where it generates all of the necessary html files and places them as well as the sound clips and images in a folder. everything works but there is no sound on the slide transitions

2) I have saved it as asingle file .mhtm file, where it bundles everything into a single file... still the sound on the slide transitions don't play.
