I have a .pps file that I need to change. I don't have the origianl .ppt file since it was sent to me through multiple emails. Is there anyway to turn this into a .ppt file??

Run PowerPoint. Using "File", "Open", open the .pps file. The "show" file will be opened, after which you shoul be able to do a "save as" to a .ppt format.

Thanks, I didn't even think about opening it that way. I always open my files through Explorer.
