PowerPoint pop-ups!

PowerPoint 2002. . .I wish to set up a "reaction" on a single screen. I have a list of primary color circles down the left of the screen and a list of the corresponding words down the right. How can I make the appropriate word on the right "react" when I click or mouse-over the colored circle on the left?

A simple way is to create copies of your original slide, one for each color. (copy and paste from your original slide so the text and objects are in the exact same position on the next slide). Then on each slide, increase the font size of one of the words. Do this for each color. Then on your original slide, right click on the color object, click on Action Settings, click on the Mouse Over tab, select Hyperlink to and click on the drop down arrow and select the appropriate slide that has the larger color word on it.

Thanks Neil. I thought that might be the only way of doing it. I imagine that after the "copied" screen comes on I can have it show for about one or two seconds and then have it automatically revert to the original screen?

What you could do is on the slides that show the expanded word, place a rectangle the size of the slide in the background ( just draw a large rectangle, click on Draw, Order, Send to Back). Then on this place a hyperlink back to the first slide. So the person would run his mouse over a color, it jumps to the next slide, and then when he moves off the color onto the background, it'll jump to the original. Other then this, we'll probably have to use some VBA.
