I posted this in the MS Office forum but it was recommended I post it here instead:
I am trying to create a training powerpoint file to use when training new hires on our database. I understand that mouse overs will open a different file, etc. when the mouse runs over a "mouse over" object. Is there a way to create a mouse over object that only opens up, or makes visible, a text box embedded in the powerpoint slide similar to how this is possible on a web page? Moreover, do mouse overs only work to link to external files, web pages, etc. or can they be used for other slide objects?
I should add that I have never used VBA but am very familiar with writing crystal reports so I don't know if there are similarities. Any insight would be a great help.
