I'm new to Sharepoint and have searched this forum for the answer but haven't found it. So here's my first noob post.

What I'm trying to do is embed a powerpoint slide in a webpart, smack dab in the middle of a web part page. To give a comparison it would be like having an iFrame on a static html page with a slide in it (complete with hyperlinks).

It doesn't have to be in powerpoint format, I could re-do it in html, but it would be ideal if I could just use the slide (would be ideal for the person using the site actually).

Can this be done with Sharepoint?

I wish I had a rule of thumb I could work off of, like "anything I can do with FrontPage can be done in SharePoint" or something along those lines.
