Powerpoint: How to configure to start slideshow automatically

Hello everyone,

How do I configure a Power point presentation so that when someone double-clicks on it to open it, it automatically launches the slideshow?

Hi Dreamboat, Thanks for the quick response. I have Power point 2002 and when I click on File, I don't have an option for "Save as Power point show." The options that I have are:
Save...
Save as...
Save as web page...

Any ideas?

Sure...Choose the Save as.

Then, at the bottom, change the file type to PowerPoint show... Anne Troy

Just a suggestion. If someone is very helpful,like Dreamboat in this situation, you can click on "Mark this post as a helpful/expert post" and The post will be marked with a star. This gives the poster a vote for tipmaster of the week but more importantly it allows other browsers to see that there is helpful info in the post. this means more people see and beneift from the poster's helpful insight and that makes the time they spent posting all the more value.
