You can save Powerpoint to html, but I've had problems with it in the past (some slides get turned upside down!). Microsoft offers a free web viewer for Powerpoint, it's just a simple download. You can get it here:
What I've done in the past is put a link on the page for the Powerpoint presentation and have it open in a window by itself. Something simple like this:
<a href="whatever.ppt" target="_blank">View PowerPoint Presentation</a>
And, of course, have the above link on the page as well so the user can download the viewer if they need it.
Have a look at Microsoft Producer. You'll have to search search microsoft.com for it, but it's a free download and looks pretty good. I've played with it a bit (not in any anger, mind you) and it seems well up for online presentations.
