Folks,
I have a PC running Windows XP PRO and Office 97. However whenever the user closes Powerpoint and then double-clicks on the desktop icon to open the app later on, nothing happens. The Powerpnt.exe process is still running in Task Manager - user has to manually kill the process to open Powerpoint again.
As stated earlier, the PC has been reimaged and Office 97 has also been uninstalled/reinstalled with Office 97 SP1&2. I also removed and recreated a new instance of the Powerpoint key in the registry - to no avail.
Previous to the reimage this was not an issue.
I would be grateful for any assistance in this matter
All the very best
Johnny
