We created documents in Powerpoint 2000 with microsoft chart feature of Powerpoint 2000. When we try to edit them with Powerpoint 2003 we get an error of 'The Microsoft Chart Server application cant be found' and says to ask the admin for help. Well I am the admin and I have no clue what the issue is. I thought Office changes were pretty much seamless. This is a BIG issue. Any one have any ideas?

what you have to do is download microsoft organization chart 2.0 from microsoft's site and run it to install. apparently this is a feature that is not part of the base package. I downloaded it and now the app works fine. They dont want you to use this feature, they want you to use visio and embed the graphs that way. More $$$ perhaps??? Anyhow, it works now.
FreedomPay... thank you! This is exactly what I needed. We recently went from Office 2K Professional to Office 2K3 Standard, thinking that we didn't need all the features that Professional provided. However, we have TONS of 2K Org Charts that need to be updated and this was a huge deal! Thanks again.
