Powerpoint 2000 problems

Hi... hope Someone can give me a few ideas.

We Run WIN2000 with Metaframe XP FR2,Running with all applications being published, no desktop sessions.
We are upgrading MS Office 97 over to Office 2000.

All the office application appear to work correctly except Powerpoint.

When any user opens powerpoint the application starts OK, but when you choose Open with Design Templates it takes about 2Min to open up the templates. This also happens when you go File New.

Has anyone had this problem. If so a fix would be helpfull.

1. Have you compressed the drive which holds the office files? If so uncompress it

2. Have you hidden the directory in which the Powerpoint templates are installed? If so "Unhide" it
