We have recently upgraded our environment upto 7.3 but have since had a problem with Upfront. When our cubes build and publish (using scripts) in the morning the Modified date is changing on cubes but not for any of their related reports. This only happens with reports created before the upgrade. Any new reports (and cubes) are given the modified date/time when cubes publish.

We have 2 publication servers but our reports (created on PPlay Web) are on a seperate server and each of the PPES servers point to this in PPES server admin as the location for Imported_Reports. (Hope this is making sense!)

Few observations I have made are that the reports which modified date do not update does not have the Data Source information in the properties on Upfront (would normally tell you where the source cube is). Also in PPES Admin, when we look in the Imported Reports folder we cannot see the content where I we should be seeing loads of reports our users have created. Although I can see them all on the actual server (ppx & cfx files).

Any thoughts anyone or any more info required?

I had a similar experience, albeit a simpler set-up; all models and reports on one server. After upgrade from 7.1 to 7.3, no pre-upgrade report would be show the modification date of the refreshed cube. I could see no other solution than recreate each report in 7.3.

I had used the standard upgrade method to pack upfront and contents, not deployment manager.
